We’re all spending more time at home than ever before as the world tries to stop the global pandemic of COVID-19. While we’re spending time at home, why not take the opportunity to relax and indulge your skin?
Pamper your skin
In an ideal world, we’d all take time every week to pamper our complexions. From healing serums to skincare masks, there are a lot of products designed to heal and soothe our complexions. First, be sure to cleanse your skin thoroughly with a gentle cleanser.
Once your skin is cleansed, apply a mask, if you wish, or your favourite serum or moisturiser. Regardless of the serum or moisturiser you use, apply it with a rose quartz crystal facial roller. This facial roller increases the absorption of your favourite skincare products while reducing puffiness. It improves the skin’s overall texture to reveal softer and brighter-looking skin.
Pair it with your favourite eye serum, such as Opti Crystal Liquid Crystal Eye Serum, and it can reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles.
Introducing... the microfibre mask
Microfibre masks - or sheet masks - may seem like a hot new trend, but they’ve been around a while. People love them and it’s no wonder - the masks deliver concentrated hydration and nourishment to the skin while they relax. A microfibre mask is a wet mask made of microfibre material that is saturated with nourishing, hydrating ingredients. It’s so saturated that the mask usually drips as you remove it from the package.
How do I use a microfibre mask?
First, cleanse your skin thoroughly; after all, the beneficial ingredients can’t soak into the skin if the pores contain dirt and debris. Simply remove the mask from the package and unfold it. Then, place it over your face, lining the holes up with your eyes, nose, and mouth. Smooth it down over your face. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes.
How often should I use a microfibre mask?
You can use a microfibre mask once a week or even every evening as part of your skincare routine. It depends on your skincare goals, your skin concerns, and if you have an event coming up. Regardless of how often you use the mask, one thing is clear - it delivers saturated moisture to your skin.
If your skin is dry, it delivers much-needed moisture to your thirsty skin. Consider using the mask more often to keep your skin nourished and hydrated.
For normal skin, the masks deliver a healthy dose of hydration to your skin to keep it soft and supple.
