Meet The Team
Aysha Awwad |
Managing Director |
How did you get started with Medico Beauty? In late 2003 I completed a Bachelors degree in Economics that developed my skills in math, identifying trends and forecasts. The best part was learning how this information transcribed into the real world and of course business and policies. However, I am a creative thinker and the prospect of number crunching didn’t seem like the most inspiring career option. What is your current role? I am currently Managing Director and responsible for business development and sales. Now advanced beauty services have moved from niche area into the mainstream I enjoy developing other areas of the business such as online engagement with the general public. I enjoy taking a hands on approach and carry out consultations and treatments in a satellite clinic called Synesthesia in Clerkenwell Collection, Farringdon. What’s your favourite product within the range? What’s your favourite treatment? What do you love doing outside of work? |

Andy Millward |
National Eduction Manager |
How did you get started with Medico Beauty? I started working with Medico Beauty in July 2014 but had already been a customer, having trained with Medico Beauty Institute in 2013 to become a certified aesthetician and use CosMedix peels in my treatments. I loved the products, treatments and the ethics of the company, so it was an honour to be invited onboard as part of the team. What is your current role? I am the National Eduction Manager and I am responsible for delivering training and education to therapists and skin care practitioners within the UK and Ireland. What’s your favourite product within the range? I absolutely love CosMedix Purity Clean. It’s a multi-functional product that has literally transformed by skin. I recommend it to everyone and I always get thanks back in return! What’s your favourite treatment? Our Dermagen+ treatment, a protocol that is unique to Medico Beauty. It’s a combination therapy that gives amazing results in a very short space of time. Combining traditional medical needling with modern scientific findings and a unique technique to ensure a non-traumatic approach to dermal needling, reducing discomfort and downtime whilst boosting the results. What do you love doing outside of work? I work as an aesthetician so I see clients outside of work. I also write and have two of my own blogs, as well as contributing for other websites occasionally. For downtime, I enjoy reading (mostly skin / health books), kettlebell workouts, yoga, meditation and dining out. |
