We love this book by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall of River Cottage fame. Particularly, we seriously agree with his thoughtful introduction and also the wise words he has written about RAW food (page 92). We HIGHLY advise that you purchase it, for the bargain price of £14 on Amazon.

Fearnley-Whittingstall really sums up our approach to veg loving. No, we aren't vegtarians. However, we do think that nowadays everyone eats far too much meat than:

1. Our bodies evolved to cope with

2. The world and enviroment can sustain

3. Ethical farming practices allow

We believe, therefore, that meat is to be savoured, is to be for a special occasion and is to come from only the most ethical, high quality sources. Otherwise, we are very happy enjoying fantastic, varied, rich and healthy vegetable based diets - featured in amazing cook books such as this one.
